Is it becoming socially acceptable to wear heels to middle school?
I've seen like 15 kids wearing really high heeled wedges (4-5 inches) and 2 wearing chunky ankle boots. And that's just of the kids I've seen. My school is 7-8 grade and of the kids I've seen it's probably about half seventh and half eighth graders. Half the kids i knew personally anfd they were all really nice; one of the girls wearing the ankle boots is my best friend and she is most certainly not a skimpy dresser or anything. In fact, most of the really slutty girls don't wear heels at all, not even to dances where literally half the girls wear 3-4 inch stilettos. It's funny to think how in the 1900's heels were uncommon, then high heels became appropriate for grown woman, common for woman at work, acceptable for high schoolers, and now they're becoming more and more common for middle schoolers. It's like they're slowly trickling down the age groups. But considering how things fade in and out of trends like they do i doubt they'll ever reach elementary school kids.
